This is a great snack which perfectly combines a serving of protein, carbohydrate and good fats.

INGREDIENTS:

soak mixed nuts – e.g. almonds, Brazil nuts, macadamia nuts

Soak medjool dates
Soak for at least 12 hours with a dash of apple cider vinegar/ lemon juice/ or whey (liquid from yoghurt)

1/3 cup cocao powder and pinch sea salt

1/3 cup coconut oil

WHAT TO DO:

mix all of the ingredients in a high powered blender, and flatten in tray

decorate with desiccated coconut and set in fridge
