I teach the FERTILITY AWARENESS METHOD

It is easy to learn!

The Fertility Awareness Method is very powerful in fast tracking women to a healthy conception.

I love to teach women all about their fertility cycles because it:

  • identifies REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH ISSUES quickly
  • is an effective METHOD OF NATURAL BIRTH CONTROL for women who do not want to use the birth control pill
  • pinpoints exactly the MOST FERTILE DAYS TO CONCEIVE… and not
  • is a report card of GENERAL HEALTH to address now

Women trying to conceive are usually working with a number of health professionals. I have always identified something using this method that has been missed. At the very least it allows immediate treatment of health issues that may be an impediment to falling pregnant.

Digital ovulation sticks are very  good at pinpointing ovulation. However they will not tell you why you are not falling pregnant.

THE FERTILITY AWARENESS METHOD IS MORE EFFECTIVE THAN A PERIOD APP

While any fertility awareness is helpful… the majority of period apps are just rhythm calculators.

These apps simply apply a mathematical formula and try to predict when you period will arrive based on past cycles.

But this is flawed because it is normal for your cycle to change.

Cycles are influenced by a host of factors including: stress, illness, dietary changes, nutritional deficiencies excessive exercise, thyroid function, constipation, toxin exposure (alcohol, smoking etc.) and medications.

I tell my patients that their cycle is a report card of their health.

There is a fair variation in healthy cycles. Women are different.

WHAT IS A NORMAL HEALTHY CYCLE

  • Cycle length 21-36 days
  • Period length 4 -7 days
  • First 2 days moderate-heavy (changing 4-6 times/day), and then tapering off to light
  • Moderate cramping for 1-2 days
  • Luteal phase (from ovulation to next period) 12-14 days

These are the optimal conditions for a healthy quick and easy conception.

AND NOT:

  • Cycle length < 21 or > 36 days
  • Period < 4 or > 7 days
  • Heavy or light bleeding
  • Severe cramping and pain
  • Luteal phase <12 days

WHAT IS THE FERTILITY AWARENESS METHOD?

Keeping track of the body’s fertile signs to determine when the fertility window is.

Cervical mucus

You need to record your most fertile mucus at the end of day.

Temperature

This involves taking your basal body temperature upon waking.

Other signs and symptoms

Such as spotting, pain, diarrhoea, constipation, bloating, fatigue, irritability, and headaches.

I have a detective role. Once all of these factors are plotted on a chart it becomes easy to determine when you are most likely to fall pregnant, and to identify and treat any condition that is preventing a healthy conception.

The Fertility Awareness Method is a valuable tool to use for the rest of your life whether you want to conceive or not!
